Ceremony Details

Sunday, September 26, 2020, 10am-1pm PDT|1pm-4pm EDT

You’re invited to a time-honored tradition of praying with the earthly element of Water. We will flow into the season of transformation, sit in community, harvest our learnings and intentions around balance, and use the energies of the Fall Equinox available to us to enter the Fall season with balance, clarity, and ease.

The Fall Equinox is a portal that shifts all things in the northern hemisphere from the season of growth (Summer) towards the season of harvest (Fall). Any seasonal shift invites us to attune to the cycles of nature-- because we are cyclical beings-- giving us all an opportunity to bring awareness to what needs balancing and strengthening in ourselves.

In this ceremony you will:

  • Experience intersectional Earth Wisdom teachings

  • Connect with community, spiritual life, self-love, and awareness

  • Touch into the interconnectedness of all living and non-living things

  • Connect deeply with a peaceful place in yourself

  • Introspect the self to identify what needs re-balancing and re-strengthening as you enter this Fall Season

  • Re-align with your purpose and calling as you understand it right now

Our Promises

  • Accessibility: No one is turned away for lack of funds. Contact bdcollective20@gmail.com to discuss a payment plan or gift exchange.

  • Give Back: 10% of ceremony proceeds are donated to The Sogorea Te Land Trust, an urban Indigenous women-led community organization that facilitates the return of Chochenyo and Karkin Ohlone lands to Indigenous stewardship.

  • Land Acknowledgment. BDC guide ceremonies on occupied land taken from the Chochenyo and Karkin Ohlone people who trace their ancestry through the San Francisco Bay Area. We honor their connection to this region, we offer gratitude and pay respect to the stewards, past and present, for the opportunity to live, work, learn, and pray here. We encourage our community to learn more about land returns and match our donation if they feel called.

What People Are Saying

My biggest takeaway from ceremony was that I am truly, sincerely, and without a doubt connected and secure within the physical realm of the Universe and all of her infinite wisdom and resources. This realization also reminded me that my fear of not being safe and secure in the world is unfounded and it is okay for me to release that fear as it no longer serves me. I have never before had an experience like this, it was such an incredible and enlightening experience filled with an abundance of lessons and self-reflective opportunities.

— Christi Ann, California

“It was worth every minute and penny. I felt like ceremony really held me in my spiritual work, inspired me, and nourished more seeds that will germinate and grow in my life. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked in an online format. I knew it was going to be good, but it was great! I felt an immediate connection with the leaders, in their authenticity. It was also such a relief to have a woman of color leading too (I’m A WOC and it’s such a rare experience to feel that safe).”

— Sable, Washington

“I have been in circle with other women before, but I haven't really participated in a ceremony like this that included such detailed ancient teachings and learnings. I thought you women were all incredibly special -- your energy and the space you held for us was palpable even through Zoom. I loved the interplay of your personalities and approaches. The ceremony was so well-crafted with an eye towards everything that's going on -- I loved that we were given many breaks, a super long lunch, and had an opportunity to go outside. I felt there was a very good balance between being led into spiritual self-reflection and having the space to find my own way into it.”
