Ceremony Details

Sunday, December 19, 2021

3pm-7pm PT/ 6pm-10pm ET

The Winter Solstice is the darkest and longest night of the year. The earth and all her children enter into the longest period of darkness to remember only the most essential— the qualities of winter that are our birthright to live into.

Join Alex and Natalie in a time-honored tradition of release, stillness, restoration, grounding, and storytelling.. In this winter solstice ceremony, we will intentionally unwind the past year, reflect on what is left to process and distill, and remember that in the darkness our light shines brighter, revealing a soul path for us to access hope and dreams. In community we will cross the threshold from Fall to Winter together with guided rituals and experiences.

In this ceremony, you will...

  • Be guided by two highly trained Earth Wisdom teachers

  • Experience intersectional Earth wisdom teachings

  • Experience community, spiritual connection, self-love, and self-awareness

  • Touch into the interconnectedness of all living and non-living things

  • Connect deeply with a peaceful place in yourself

  • Nourish your body, mind, soul, and heart

  • Enter the Winter season restored

  • Release the energy of the year in order to dream yourself anew

We honor their connection to this region, we offer gratitude and pay respect to the stewards, past and present, for the opportunity to live, work, learn, and pray here. We encourage our community to learn more about land returns and match our donation if they feel called.

What People Are Saying

“It was worth every minute and penny. I felt like this ceremony really held me in my spiritual work, inspired me, and nourished more seeds that will germinate and grow in my life. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked in an online format. I knew it was going to be good, but it was great! I felt an immediate connection with the leaders, in their authenticity. It was also such a relief to have a woman of color leading too (I’m A Woman Of Color and it’s such a rare experience to feel that safe).”

— Sable, Seattle WA

“I have been in circle with other women before, but I haven't really participated in a ceremony like this that included such detailed ancient teachings and learnings… I thought you three women were all incredibly special -- your energy and the space you held for us was palpable even through Zoom. I loved the interplay of your personalities and approaches. The ceremony was so well-crafted with an eye towards everything that's going on -- I loved that we were given many breaks, a super long lunch, and had an opportunity to go outside. I felt there was a very good balance between being led into spiritual self-reflection and having the space to find my own way into it.”

— Gabriella, NYC

“I was looking for connection with community and the movement and awareness I have received from other ceremonies. [I walked away from a ceremony with BDC] feeling grounded and more aware of what I need to put my focus towards, as well as energy for taking action. I love the energy the three of you! [There is] something powerful about the gifts you each bring and share together that makes ceremony with BDC magical. “
